Thank you for visiting our page for upcoming events. Here we will post from time to time scheduled performance dates.

At this time, we are very excited to announce that plans are underway for the Sakthi Centre Dance Troupe to visit America!

This will be a great opportunity for friends of the Sakthi Centre to enjoy quality international folk art.

Arrangements are underway to have the Sakthi Dancers and Sr. Chandra visit the Eastern seaboard state of South Carolina in July, 2011.

Several performances are planned in the area of the Carolinas and Georgia.

The dates of the intended performances are as Follows:

July 16, 2011: Marion Square, Charleston, SC 9:00am

July 16, 2011: St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Columbia SC. 7:15pm

July 23rd,2011: Atlanta, Ga. Time To Be announced.

There are also possible performances being arranged for North Carolina and Georgia.

If at all possible, make plans to attend one of the events mentioned above. This will be a rare opportunity to see this talented dance troupe perform on American soil.
